BRANDING: 

“Kiss of fire”

Burning the skin with a red-hot metal strip.

It brings to most of our minds the marking of animals and slaves as property.

This has also been used to mark heretics,

criminals and members of gangs or organizations. 

We use it as a choice of body art or ritual:

The metal briefly touches the skin, each stroke touching for less than a second.

You will feel a warm sensation, and most likely not much more. 

Larger designs are built from a few carefully planned smaller pieces of metal,

and will be done with a few strokes to make a complete "puzzle" picture.

The skin will feel quite a bit as sun burnt afterwards.

The branding will have your skins natural burnt-scar color (reddish / white).
