(Helsevernetaten, Bergen Kommune)
have checked and authorized
Witchy Bitchy Beauty Spot's methods and environment
to be agreeable with Norwegian regulations for piercing and tattoo.
Health authorities communicate with and visit us regularly
to control and go true with us that our hygiene is kept up to date.

We invest very much economically, in work hours and education,
to secure that nobody shall be cross-contaminated from our studio.
We have the best quality latest sterilizing tools & methods.
Our sterilizers are type B pre-vacuum & steam autoclaves,
similar as most dentist use.
Prior to sterilizing we clean tools & jewelry
chemically and in Ultrasonic (by sound waves).

Items which do come in contact with skin to be pierced & tattooed
are sterilized in sealed autoclave pouches and/or
are disposable and only used once on each customer.
Autoclave pouches are opened only moments before
piercing or tattoo is performed.
We do practice same standard of hygiene as good dentist
and minor surgical operations.

All jewelry we sell also for healed piercings
has gone true autoclave sterilization.
Jewelry witch doesn't tolerate the +135 C. heat and pressure
of the autoclave is sterilized chemically or disinfected.
Most jewelry we sell is packed in sealed (blue-green) autoclave bags,
(which unfortunately do not look so great on our display wall).
These bags keep the jewelry sterile until we insert it to piercing.

Our studio's furnishing is designed to be easy to disinfect and keep clean.
We spend much time and effort to educate our piercing & tattoo staff
about the necessary hygiene rules and routines.
We also work constantly on educating our customers
about suitable hygiene and care for safe piercing & tattoos.

We do follow international advises and news for our industry.
We are spending lifetime studying medicine
as hobby for our own curiosity, benefiting our work and customers.
