TATTOO, AFTERCARE / SUN BLOCK:

AFTERCARE:
It takes about 1-4 weeks for a newly tattooed skin to heal.
Swimming and soaking tattooed skin during healing period should be avoided.
During this time the skin needs to be kept clean and well moisturized.
Everyone tattooed in Witchy Bitchy, will receive written detailed instructions
 for the total aftercare and a bottle of suitable moisturizer.
 

SUN BLOCK:
Sunlight and solarium (artificial sun bed) are the two things that will fade
and eventually can destroy colors of the tattoo.
It is really worth an effort to protect your tattoo from sunlight
with an effective sun block or clothing.

Pick the sun block skin care products with the highest

“Sun Protection Factor = SPF” number as 50 or 60.

Those are the most effective sun blocks,
and suitable for tattoo protection and preservation.
The products made for very sensitive skin are the safest types.
The sun protection products we personally have tested and can recommend
are available in Norway from Drug Stores (“Apoteker”):
Cosmetic company called " VICHY Laboratories”
 have few sun protection products with SPF 60 and 50+.
They are suitable for most skin types.
You may choice the product with suitable consistency for your skin,
personal preference and depending on the size of your tattoo.
Some of them are creamy, some milky and some are in solid stick form.
